I don't associate flying with luxury at all, I wish I did and was one of those people who can afford first class I used to defend Ryanair like you for the same reasons but I think they've just gone too far lately

I remember the days when Aer Lingus were the only way to get to Ireland by air... 400.00 roundtrip! I will sit on the wing if it costs 70.00 I think for people living outside Ireland they have been a lifeline, when my Mum was ill I was going backwards and forwards every month or so and they were a Godsend, sometimes I got there and back for 40.00

Sometimes I go to Rome and use Alitalia. Flights leave from London and i don't have to go to Stansted. But from rome to Pescara is about thee hours by bus.
