Say what you will about them, but Helen and Lewis still both had clear moments of humility and being brought down a peg and have a vulnerable side to them, which explains why they have such a defensive streak to them. It doesn't excuse how insufferable both are, but it does at least explain why they are how they are.

Ever since CBB18, there's been threads comparing Bear to any nasty dick. From Helen to Marq to Jemma Lucy at one point(what???) to Andrew Brady and now to Lewis F. The reason behind this is that he's so detestable and satanic because of physically harming people, knowingly committing domestic abuse, destroying his environment with invaluable food, breaking cameras, ruining tasks, smiling when people cried, the biggest piece of s.hite I've ever watched ever! There's so many comparisons made to him because he's incomparable. The quintessential cunt if you will.

Lewis is... Troubled but wants to be better than he is. Bear to be honest is more of a character than a person; he was just playing his ex on the beach style TV role the whole time and it's hard to assess him beyond that (plus I liked it because the others his year were dire and deserved to be wound up). You could even see the mask slip and him trying to comfort people if it all went too far on occasion.

Helen Wood was a spiteful bully who took genuine pleasure in seeing other people upset.

There's just no contest.

Yes, Lewis upsets people but it comes from an anxious / angry place, he doesn't enjoy conflict and gets himself into a bit of a wreck over it. Helen thrived on conflict and other people's misery... Literally the only housemate who is on par / worse is BB13 Connor. And yes, that includes the Jade / Danielle / Jo trio (who frankly had no idea what they were doing at the time).

Helen was appreciative of her followers - not loyal to her friends. If any of them took issue with her over anything the "loyalty" disappeared very quickly.

Not that I'm saying Lewis is any different there; I suspect he'd drop even Cameron pretty quickly if there were any massive disagreements.
