The guy is funny as hell sometimes but I didn't even know he was the Oscars host.

Idk what the exact jokes/comments were but I think generally jokes should be taken a lot more lightly than real-life racism/homophobia etc. because jokes are just that, not meant to be taken seriously. If he apologized for this which was nearly a decade ago, I don't see why it should've become a huge issue again. Then again, I also don't see why he wouldn't just apologize again regardless of how long ago it was. He didn't have to quit over it.

There's been so many below the belt jokes made and nobody says anything except gasp and nervously laugh .

I believe Kevin Hart is genuine and he regrets it he's just silly at times ,sure his humour isn't everyone's cup of tea , I prefer his comedy in movies rather than his stand up . Anyway isn't Kevin Hart friends with Wanda Sykes?? .
