The build up for me.
The day itself is often too hectic at times for me apart from Christmas dinner. For me Christmas day starts the Christmas season for the next 12 days, so I find boxing day more relaxing, so enjoying that period between Christmas day and New Years day particularly. |

there is nothing quite like getting the family together on Christmas day so that they can carry on the heated argument they had last christmas

We had our big Christmas Day on Monday, and Boxing Day on Tuesday.
Weirdly, it did feel exactly like Xmas day as well. My mate came round yesterday and was on about preparing for Xmas day and I thought she had lost the plot Our December the 25th will be very quiet, me hubby and the telly. No big meal to be cooked etc...bliss. |

I like both, even though I've worked every Christmas since 2009
