Why are you looking for reasons to doubt the victim when the police confirmed they have footage that showed the attack as it was reported?

It was a racist and homophobic attack in which they made out they were gonna lynch the victim, a black man AND they were screaming MAGA at him, I wonder, is that last part why you're so desperate to cast doubt on this story despite the facts?

The police haven't confirmed anything of the kind. Keep up. The only thing which they have confirmed is that they want to speak to 2 persons of interest and they've shown a cctv picture of those 2 people walking, but they have found no footage of an actual attack. Those 2 people of interest could be totally innocent.

I think something happened, it could well be exactly as he says it was, it could have happened differently.

The story is questionable at the moment.

The story so far is that at 2.30am on the coldest day recorded, in a city that is a massive democrat voting, Trump hating City, Two people were roaming the streets in MAGA hats, wearing ski masks and carrying a rope and bleach, on the off chance that they'd bump into this Jussie fella. The area is camera laden, but police have yet to find any footage of an attack. The have found Jussie on camera walking with a rope around is neck.

Is it though? I'm actually on board with waiting for the full story before jumping to conclusions, in all cases, and I haven't commented on this case, I was merely pointing out the "strange" double standard.

For what it's worth I don't think you're "racist", Alf, but I do think you're... defensive. You feel like it's "conceding something" to admit that people are attacked for reasons such as homophobia or racism... that doing so is somehow "losing ground". Just take each story as it comes
