So it's only stealing if you buy drugs with the money? I don't think that's how the law works Nicky

didn't a policeman go to jail for doing something similar at a murder crime scene?

If no crime was committed cause she was dead, then jimmy saville is innocent of many of his crimes committed in hospitals.

Why is nobody wondering why this hospital worker is going through a dead patient's personal belongings in the first place , the only way you'd want to go through a patient's wallet / personal stuff etc is to find ID and contact details for their family and next of kin surely ? . Why would the first thought be to steal money/ use their credit cards??!

Its not about the amount or what she bought. Its an abuse of her position and the trust the family have put in the NHS. I am sure she was overworked and underpaid as a HCA at the moment but stealing from a dead woman....is low.

It may seem trivial to some as it was only £6 but that woman's family will not think like that. They have just lost a family member and someone is stealing from them before they're even cold??? Grim tbh

The woman who died will not feel aggrieved but her family will. They may not even have been informed before this woman stole from her. Its a massive abuse of trust

If a NHS worker wants to treat herself to dinner on my card after I’ve died I’m fine with that tbf

of course i know this, it also happens in my nation yes, i see on our crimewatch over here way too many times, also to still living elderly, whom get robbed by young girls usually, whom seem harmless at first but distract the older lady/man long enough to go through his/her wallet, also sometimes before this following their intended victim in the supermarket to look at pin number first

i am most definitely not ageist, and i myself would never ever do something like this

You might be,but you think your family would be happy that someone who was meant to be looking after you had stolen from you before you were cold?

I would have been livid if an NHS worker had stolen from my mum....she wouldn't have cared but its just the abuse of trust, not the money that would have pissed me off. I would have let her use my mums card had she asked but to gave taken it without asking is grim.

If it was me lying there dead I'd feel like you, but that's not the point....people are bound to be pissed off. If a nurse nicked your wallet while you were visiting someone would you just let that go? This is no different

why not treat them why you are alive, why wait until you are dead, hand over your card details, I am sure TS's wife would love a treat

whose to say they werent doing exactly the same with all the patients in critical care. If someone is caught having done this, its very unlikely it was the first time
