Taking all the motion out of it, it was just a really terrible business decision.

Is that really what happened, though?
Beer sales are stumbling, so it appears they just tried to appeal to new customers. It was one post by a trans woman, that's the full extent of telling existing customers that they're all trash.
Now admittedly, i didn't follow the story to the full extent, so if there is an actual quote by the ceo explicitly saying that the customers are trash, then I'll retract this opinion, but otherwise, I think the folks who hate cancel culture, love trying to cancel anything and everything that's even remotely subversive, all under the guise of being oppressed.
