But.... I still think Diana is more of a raw sound and very distinctive. They are similar but it's not the same sound.

We have never had anyone like Diana on the X Factor before, hence why she is unique, Cheryl is right, she melts you, there is ust something so warm and nice about her, I keep forgetting she is only 17. This girl has amazing talent, me thinks she will defo be in the final.

I haven't trawled the net nor Youtube.com to draw my conclusions. I just know what the X-Factor judges are looking for and it's not Diana. Please don't get fooled by the volumes of people who watch Diana sing on Youtube.com. That means nothing. Except people may enjoy a particular song she's sung, which is understandable.

I can see it all coming tumbling down for her when Cowell gets his foul mouth into her with more of the marmite comments. He couldn't touch her last night because she blew everyone away, but when he gets a chance he will undermined her and the public confidence in her.

I also think she's going to fall short of the final, I think she might finish 5th overall. She's unique, but I don't think she's that popular with voters, and I think that Simon will want to undermine her because he's looking for someone who can do well in the pop charts, and Diana certainly isn't pop.

Luckily, I still think she has the potential to do well - but I agree, it's a shame that her voice isn't exactly what TXF is looking for. And I think that's silly, because she clearly has the X factor. This is like a repeat of Rhydian last year.

I have watched every X-Factor and I see a very convincing pattern. I doubt very much that Diana comes anywhere close to that pattern. I do not disagree that she has an almost unique voice, but we may see her mess up next Saturday's song and that could change everything.

That's exactly what it's like! (The only difference being that I like Diana, I didn't like Rhydian ) I'll be pleased if she reaches the top five, but I have serious doubts at the moment that she's going to do well. I think Big Band week will separate the good from the bad. They did Big Band week in week 3 last year. Up until that week, Hope had been the favourites to win, and they were in the bottom two that week.

I think Diana has a promising career ahead of her, so long as she's at least in the last 6, but I don't think she's going to win.

I think that is a good point. I not sure he would know what to do with her if she did win, not because she is "not pop" but because she is so different. For him to work with her he would coach all the makes her different out of her and then she will be the same as 100's of other girl singers and that would be the end of her.

Before XF started this year, Simon said he wanted something original and different, Diana is, by XF terms, the most original contestant ever. She appeals to everyone, which is how I think she is going to get through to the final with more performances like that. It's not like she just appeals to a certain demographic she appeals to Older people, aswell as younger and different genders etc.
