Nice to get a Yellow warning of snow on the 2nd of flipping MAY!
![]() Yellow warning of snow From: 1900 on Sat 2 May To: 1500 on Sun 3 May Updated 1 hour ago Heavy rain will spread northeast across Scotland during Saturday night and Sunday, falling as snow down to 300-400 m in places. Accumulations of 10-20 cm are likely, mainly above 400 m but possibly as low as 300 m. Strong easterly winds will result in some drifting. The public should be aware of the risk of difficult driving conditions on higher roads. In addition, conditions are likely to be hazardous for those out on the hills and mountains, whilst heavy rain at lower elevations may lead to surface water on roads. |

Scattered thunderstorms are likely to extend northwards across eastern and southeastern areas of England during Friday giving some localised intense downpours. The public should be aware of the risk of localised surface water flooding which may lead to disruption to transport and outdoor activities. Frequent lightning could prove to be an additional hazard. |
