So, whoever wins, is out of luck
The simple way to do this is to tax the wealth of the richest people in the country, but those former tory donors now donating big wads to labour aren't doing it because they want to pay their fair share. So what will happen is what's happened for the last 14 years; cuts and more austerity.

Why normal everyday people fight for the mega wealthy to keep all their money is just a mystery.

This country used to provide so much. A welfare state that helped support some of the best bands ever produced, free education that provided our nurses, doctors and scientists. We've willingly let that money be stolen from us, in order that Billionaires and hundred-millionaires get to carry on growing their nest eggs at exponential rates.

I've been accused on here of hating England and the fact I'm English, but there is no more patriotic thing than to point out the flaws in a country capable of so much better.

Apparently Grant Shapps said this morning that people should vote tory to avoid labour getting a super majority in parliament.

If that's not admitting defeat, i don't know what is

They also put out a new ad yesterday warning about the Tories going down to third (behind Lib Dem) if people didn't vote for them

It's certainly a new approach

I think Sunak wants the tories to be wiped out. To be honest, he would join Liz Truss in the hall of fame and probably then go off giggling to live in America

I really do believe immaterial of this election's result.
PR is on the way in the next 10 years.
It will ONLY be Labour who will embrace it too.
Since it's been passed overwhelmingly TWICE at Labour conferences in the last 3 years.

PR could ensure centre, centre left Parties being the majority governing coalition for decades.
If it's planned and brought in the right way.

if the tories get wiped out there will be a fundamental political re-alignment. I guess it can be looked at a number of ways, but my belief is that Boris turned the tory party into ukip and that's why they are suffering now. My hope is that traditional tories will re-appear and take back the party because all the country has done is move further and further to the right

Ugh the Greens.
I cannot work them out at all.

One MP at present yet they've 2 co-leaders.
Now their DEPUTY leader is on the news.

????? They seem a very top heavy Party.

Cool

NEW: Conservative MP Andrea Jenkyns has used a photo of Reform UK Leader
Nigel Farage on her election campaign leaflet

You're seeing the pieces be put into place for a backbench Conservative /
Farage pact in real time

If you're in Leeds South West and Morley, you should vote for
@andreajenkyns

Her team has produced great research on the costs of illegal immigration,
and she's more than willing to let Nigel lead in opposition

Punish the One Nation consensus, and reward the handful of decent MPs who
tried to do the right thing

Sky News Text:
[The Guardian reveals that Rishi Sunak's
