I actually loved Dakota in The Golden Compass. I really enjoyed the film although it got **** reviews and didn't earn much money. I think she will be a good character but I can see her being the overused character like Effy.

Looks like cats piss. I think they should call it a day now. There is only so many times you can do a different group of teens with serious social and substance problems for two series at a time. A movie just sounds ludicrous.

I guess I'm in the minority the rates the second generation far better. I loved how for the vast majority of it it was hard to pin down if Cook was actually a good fella or a bad one. I loved all of Effy I could get - whoever said she was overrated as an actor might want to provide me with links to some of her many awards and highly rated performances I have obviously never heard of - I loved JJ, loved the twins, oh and the good Dr. Foster was one of the scariest things I think I have ever seen on TV.

No, Stu, i preffered the second generation to the first- the twins were great and throughout the series they developed as characters and all of the stories were exceptional.

I quite like it to be honest. I think Skins can't stay the same all the time, it has to evolve and it works for me.

And generation 2 > generation 1 but by a slight margin tho. I feel like the second generation was deeper and had bigger issues to solve than the first generation.
