How many does he has to pick aside from Jale? Does he have to pick another housemate as well?

At first I thought wtf? but then realised Chris must have thought hard about who was best to put up against Pauline that would be safe and also how to cover his tracks a bit, he couldn't choose Jale obviously so Christopher was the next best option considering he is the other hm that Pauline has been turning everyone against.

Good ol Chris is playing the game well IMO.
