Salman, do you think prostitution has any lasting effect on a woman? I'm curious how you perceive it. She's a "harsh character" to use her fellow housemates polite terms for it. Do you think her stint as a prostitute has anything to do with that? This idea that a person does that, and then the moment they stop it's simply something from their past that doesn't affect their present seems naive to me, like someone who hasn't got much experience with such things. I don't mean this to sound argumentative, but I think you could preach less and have your mind open to learning more.

What does me being gay have to do with bringing up Jim's PAST?? You are all for giving people the benefit of the doubt that they may have changed, unless you don't like them...

..I thought..(hoped)..that the Jim Davidson discussions were a thing of the past but I think when someone does dislike a housemate or person in general they're likely to be biased about them and if they do like a housemate/person then they're likely do defend them and show more understanding and I think that's true of everyone and perfectly natural...

and no, Jim has NOT changed. homophobic in the 1970s, and 40 years later still making extremely homophobic comments. the benefit of the doubt cannot clearly be given to him, but it can however be given to helen who hasn't shown herself to still be a prostitute that sleeps with married men. in fact she's done pretty much the opposite by condemning that kind of behaviour with her words to kim.

It's gonna happen with people who've been in the lime light.I don't think you can change that tbh.I'm not against prostitution but she knew she'd been in the papers for it before she went in BB,Her choice to go in there.Alot of people find prostitution controversial so it was bound to be brought up and used against her.She's made her choices in life(including going in BB) she's gotta live with them.
