Polls levelling out a bit now after tonights eviction.

People not enjoy the show? lol The "give it a break" option had like 3 votes before the eviction started.

I think it needs to happen as the interest is just going now theres only so much of the same format people can watch.

People need time to forget the overdone secret missions and twists which aren't twists anymore they are just the format. The original format would actually be a twist these days.

Hopefully in that time Marcus Bentley could develop some sort of disease which changed his voice from annoying Geordie to sultry goddess.

I know as die hard fans I find it hard to let go but for the good of the show I think we really need to let it disappear for a good while then a relaunch in 5 years hopefully on a bigger channel and back to the original format could be huge.
Not a chance

Daniel, maybe you should give it a break for five years and then your viewing experience would be refreshed.

I appreciate that this slightly misses the crux of your underlying point but I think, as Niamh and Josy said, it's the format that needs an overhaul rather than the show being banished for half a decade.

There's too much (blatant) manipulation from the producers and that was not the point of the original show; if they let it (and the HMs) fester in their own juices for two or three months, it would be most of the revitalising that it needed.

How will my viewing experience be refreshed when BB is really failing production wise at the moment. If it carries on like this then when I switch on in 5 years BB will be long gone.

Im thinking for the good of the show, I love Big Brother im an absolute dork when it comes to BB and don't want it to get cancelled or run into the ground and right now its being run into the ground.

Give it a break and a chance for a big comeback.

There will allways be a channel there with open arms for BB when its ready to return.

There will also be a channel ready to lick up the crumbs as soon as the present one retires it. If Endemol (or whoever owns the BB rights now) were to give it a break, someone would knock out a rip-off to fill whatever gap remained. When the real thing returned, it would probably lack impact due to the presence of the watered-down but still sufficiently similar clone having been on our screens.

Nah that's like replacing The X Factor with Stars In Their Eyes.

Big Brother is still a huge brand and nothing however similar it may be can replace the legacy of BB there are just to many iconic moments.

BB is at this time in point strong enough to take some time out I think and come back and kick arse again. Its sad seeing it flopping, the producers have run out of ideas completely and no 6 month boardroom meeting will fix that.

It needs time away and a lot of thought out preparation but its so jampacked what we will get even after next weeks finale is 3 1/2 months till CBB15 then 4/5 months till BB16.

Its to much, theres no time for them to actually fix this show it needs some serious T L C.

Well if you did do so, i'm sorry. Just wondering, why we don't see you defending Gary? Usually, you just wanna insult everyone. Don' wanna say it in bad way, but it seems that you are there just for getting angry, and try to find someone that you can hate.

Yeah you got me totally wrong.

You are obviously just glancing over my comments about housemates. Sorry if they are more than 1 sentence or contain more than 1 opinion.

I think its known on here I don't HATE any housemate I think that's pathetic especially with no live feed I will not be manipulated to hate someone by a 38 minute show.

I have defended Gary occasionally but I don't think he needs defending, I think its belittling to say *Leave Gary alone he is old and has brain damage* when Gary himself is very capable of standing up for himself.

I think the people who are crying out ageism or calling for special treatment for him are just being overly sensitive to his issues which he is totally fine with.

Hes over it, why should you be getting all menstral over it?

A break will do nothing in the long term if producers aren't going to change their ways though.. It just means that we watch the same trashy television only 5 years down the line.

It just needs a radical make-over with a whole new set of people running it!
'A break' won't do anything if it comes back exactly the same.
