Katie Hopkins is brutally and accidentally hilarious. She doesn't give a **** about yours, mine or anybody else's opinions and she will be a brilliant housemate. I will be bitterly disappointed if she isn't there.

I just can't wait for the penny to drop for all the people who think she's going to be remotely interesting.

Like that other "controversial" fame ***** who went in during Julie Goodyear's series and proceeded to...... do nothing at all.

Granted it will be amusing to see, for about 1 episode, what she's like without pre-prepared drivel.

I was talking about the woman who was a Katie Hopkins type who did the rounds on this morning television and daily mail articles with crap about how she was too good looking for the workplace etc. She turned out to be one of the dullest nonentities to ever enter the show.

I agree that if she is left to her own devises that she might stay in the background but alas the programmes numpties will obviously provide her with some kind of platform which will shove her views into the limelight and allow her to deal with it. I also think that she probably feels that this is a great and maybe last chance for her to quell the rumours that she is a loud mouth no action type of controvertialist so she might surprise if given enough rope.

Idolise her, what are you on about....I don't even like her particularly. I just seem to be alone in my submission that she will prove to be an interesting addition to the programme. Everyone else seems to think she will be an all mouth and no trousers kind of person.

I think you are allowing your hatred of her to blind your judgement. She is a professional gob and Jordan was a fake numpty looking for a place on reality tv or anything else that came her way. They are both fake but your assumption that Hopkins is a wimp under a face to face scenario is something that non of us are privy to, YET.

Frankly a tv programme where bouncers and security are lurking behind every door affords idiots like Jordan or Hopkins to voice false opinions so real life face to face scenarios never come up anyway.

I would love someone to publish something that shows Jordan to be anything more than a twat with no talent. Her books are Ghost written, her life is PR management organised and her personality is nothing special. Her taste in men and her own private life decisions are at best very suspect, regardless of how much money she has. Level out in what way exactly? As we have already clarified in this thread, both your typical fame obsessed 'numpty' and Katie Hopkins are playing the same game. So in what way exactly will she be levelling things out?

Any 'vile crap' that she does spout out at someone like Jordan will come across as hypocritical. She certainly can not accuse someone of acting out a 'showmance' as she herself is acting out a role; the 'angry old biddy'. She certainly cannot accuse people of playing up to the cameras, because, yet again she is doing likewise. There are simply no avenues that she can travel down without looking hypocritical. She is the same.

For me, the reason why people take to loathsome characters like Katie is because they represent a side to them that they envy and thus yearn for, the ability to say what you want, when you want without much of a care of who you hurt in the process. She represents a somewhat cathartic medium that people seem to be happy living vicariously from.

I actually really like Katie tbh, not the things she says, i disagree with the majority of the things she says, but i like the - pretty obvious - character that she's playing.

If she does go in tomorrow, i will be placing a bet on her to win because she's an incredibly intelligent lady, who knows how to work the media and how to sway people's opinions, we'll probably see 'another side' to her throughout the show

That just pisses me off though, how that sort of thing is rewarded and someone like her could possibly win just because she acts like a normal human being instead of her arsehole character
