That's a horrible thing to say. There are plenty of vegetarians out there who raise their kids the same way, are you really saying they're all bad parents?

Oh, she's just being honest. Or joking. Or putting on a "mean" act. Or some other excuse people pull out for Katie without any regard for consistency. Either way, YAAAAAAASS FLAWLESS QWEEEEEEN SLAYSSSSS!

But seriously, she's a seriously unlikeable person. I get that she was being insulting as part of the talent show, but she clearly targetted Alicia because she knew she'd hurt her.

As for the people questioning why Alicia didn't speak up at the time, it's clear as day that she's not confident with confrontation. Just another reason why Katie is proving herself to be an utter coward by making her the main focus of her vitriol.

I don't know of any veggie who deprives their child of a everyday, healthy food as she does ,My sister in law is strict veggie, but still gives her daughters meat

I'm a healthy person. Meat is not a must-have in a diet. I think any person raising a child should make sure they are safe, happy & healthy.
You can do all three of these things without giving them meat in their meals.

Let's face it, Katie probably detests EVERY HM in there but is choosing her targets at the moment.
Alicia comes across as a nice person. I thought she handled the situation well.

Meat is not a necessity as whole cultures live and thrive as vegetarians - therefore wouldn't apply?

I think more parents could be done for letting their children get obese, get diabetes and clogged arteries, which is all still possible with bad vegetarian diets but most vegetarians are actually very very well informed on nutrition in my experience, particularly as parents.
