Bright side, if I'm killed in a bomb blast at least my death will make international news.

I might even get a thread on here quoting their favourite posts of mine (maybe even a Gamepodfan special)

My mum has a couple of appointments in central London later this month but i've persuaded her not to go.
Before the terrorist attack in Paris, my sister and I were talking about going to Disneyland Paris, but now I wouldn't even consider it.

I was going to head out to the local co op but now I'm too scared that ISIS or Nazis or the Sith might have put landmines in my garden. Dunno if that counts.

Unfortunately the Co op is the only shop within 10 miles of me Arista. No big savings for poor Toy Soldier without an unnecessarily long trip.

We have a giant ass shopping centre right next to us so I'd go there regardless. I don't think we're really at risk from terrorists where we live in all honesty. I live about 45 minutes away from Birmingham so I imagine that would be a bigger target so i'm not worried at all going about my daily business.

I work in central London so I don't have much choice.

I have just had to book a flight to Bulgaria and I found myself pausing over whether or not to fly with Turkish Air, which is more convenient for me than Austrian air. I decided to take the safer option and fly with AA.

Edited because my grammar and spelling is always a mess!

I've heard loads of people saying they won't go to the Trafford Centre near me (which I've jumped on board with, god awful place), and the Manchester Christmas Markets have been quieter than usual but I wouldn't want things that are happening to make me live in fear. My brother is a Pilot and was flying during 9/11 and that was frightening but more so for us waiting for him to contact home than for him whilst flying, he can't allow himself to get spooked I gues

because Birmingham has the Christmas German Markets(which is crowded) it could be more of a target now so i'm a bit sceptical about going.

...no, we haven't booked yet but planned to go to Paris around February/half term next year and still will go...the hotel that we usually stay at is only a few hundred yards from some of the brutal killings so the only change will be, that this attack has happened and that inevitably, it'll feel sad and solemn ...but more sad I think, if the beauty and people of Paris were not visited and appreciated ....

Security alert' at Blackfriars as police block roads

There seems to be a security alert much closer to home. A tweet warns that armed police are out near Southwark station, just south of the River Thames in London.

No. We were planning on going to Turkey next year though which has now changed. I would take risks with myself no bother, especially with how cheap some places are right now, but I don't feel right risking the kids. I know the chance of something happening is very small, but it is a very real risk and I just can't do it.

We have also recently left the kids at home with grandma when we went to the metrocentre as Gav has it in his head that London won't be hit..it will be elsewhere, and Metro is evacuated for bomb threats all the time :S

Not made any plans personally as I don't get out much.
I have asked daughter to keep away from London and when she comes Back home up North to stay away from the Metro.
But in reality you have to try and lead as normal a life as possible or the bstds have won.
