Sam is the worst winner of any reality TV show in history, so he comes nowhere near close to that. He's a disappointing winner in the context of this series but compared to some of the other bores that have won, he's decent. From best to worst:

Helen (whether you love or hate her) is the one of the 2 most memorable BB HMs of all time. 2nd only to Nikki G. She's a true all round HM and the best CH5 winner by a country mile.

Helen is obviously the worst. Such a vile and disgusting waste. I'm glad Channel 5 banned her from every appearing on BB again. If Ashleigh won, that series would've ended perfectly. Jason wasn't too bad in my opinion. I'm pleased that he won. He wasn't my first choice tbh.

She was bad in the first half of her year, then ended up spinning it around, winning over the public and even ended up hugging her rival in the final (both were top 2), it was a great BB moment.

Then the next year she entered the BB house as a guest and got bullied by Brian. Even though he stood over her shouting abuse in her face 3 times, all his crimes were ignored and Helen was the one who got blamed when she finally retaliated to his agression, just because some people still hated her from last year.

She didn't spin anything around, she was scum from start to finish. She won because she had an automatic place in the final and so nobody had the chance to get rid of her, otherwise she'd have been gone long before and the people who voted for her likely did so because they liked her awful behavior on the basis of "entertainment".

It had nothing to do with her suddenly becoming decent and winning over the people who hated her. None of that happened.
