Tbf the Tories have had 9 years, I think that people have a right at this point to complain about their mistreatment of a lot of people in this country.

So you think people should struggle to live because they made a mistake in their lifestyle choices? What happened to try and give people a second chance?

Also I love how people seem to think that it's so easy to just get a job.

If you voted Tory, you oppose the NHS, you oppose public services and you oppose helping the vulnerable. You can lie and say otherwise but your actions speak louder than words.

Tories have been cutting funding for the NHS and public services since they took power in 2010 so by voting for them, you've okayed such measures. A Tory voter that claims to care about the NHS or public services is a liar.

It’s not always that simple. Yes for some people it can be, they can experience an episode of poverty episodically and have ways and means of getting their way out. Unfortunately for many they are born in a cycle of poverty, look it up, it’s not fiction it’s fact.

Privileged ignorance. A lot of people who claim that finding work is easy haven't done it in today's climates or has relied on pre-formed professional relationships or bonds to find something. People who act like finding a job is easy would likely live long term on the benefits they like to demonise others for being on if they had to start over fresh and find a job in today's market.

They just don't live in the real world when it comes to the job market.

...we were a society who looked out for and helped those who had less and who struggled more...we admired the strength of their characters through their struggles and we understood...’there but for the grace of God, go I..’...?...now, those people appear to be looked down on/thought lesser than because ‘they’re not trying hard enough’ or whatever...?...some people try so hard and feel so worthless and so despaired that they end their lives...and still the judgement and dehumanising continues...are these the great British values of today that are being fought so hard to preserve...

...it’s very, very sad...how insular and self serving our society has become ....

Bollox and you know it .

Boris is gonna revive the NHS and the other services and the best part of all that will be seeing thousands of labour doubters squirming ..

Edit

I’ve just seen Richard Burgon being interviewed by Sophie Ridge on Sky News .. well she couldn’t interview him as appears to be a robot ( with some serious glitches ) .

What a complete idiot ..

Boris must be praying this chump is the next Labour leader

...Boris is a man who even in his campaign to be leader... couldn’t look at or comment on the image of a child laying on a hospital floor...what was more sickening..the child’s image or the lack of concern shown by ‘our leader’ for a child with suspected pneumonia and his ‘waiting time’ in hospital...people have every reason to be concerned, to be devastated and deflated and that should be respected...many people have ‘waited to see what happens’ in their poverty under a Conservative government in this country...they’ve waited and they’ve waited and they’ve waited...and they have every right to have no faith in someone who has so far, given us nothing but words and slogans...when presented with a sick child, an opportunity for action...even a ‘media opportunity’...he turned his face away...

Do you really think they are been cutting it for **** and giggles?

Labour bankrupt the country, we had a deficit to repay, now with the good work of the Tories the country is in a much better position and Boris has promised to spend more on the NHS.

Give him time.

i think it is a tiny percentage of people across the political spectrum that oppose the NHS, that is just an incorrect statement. There are differing views on how it should be managed which is no great surprise given it's enormous size, but that in no way suggests people oppose it.

The tories have exploded the debt and deficit. Labour had to take the hit because of the financial crisis. Tories cut services purely because of ideological reasons. You really have no idea how much worse the financial situation is after a decade of tory rule? That would be cute if it didn't perfectly sum up the electorate.

Of course they're not doing it for ****s and giggles, they're doing it so they can sell it of piece by piece to their rich buddies and America.

Stop blaming Labour for ****, they've not been in power for nearly a decade. I swear come 2025 people will still be blaming Labour.

people had the right to vote for another party at FOUR elections and each time they rejected labour. I think its best to put it that way so that it puts it in the correct perspective. Labour have been rejected. They need to shake it up if they want to ever be elected again. Moaning from the sidelines doesn't achieve anything.

It never takes very long for the losers in any kind of vote to start making up reason why they're still right, even after a crushing defeat. British people kicked out Corbyn and his friends, they made it crystal clear that his kind of politics was not wanted.

Apparently if you voted Conservative, you voted to end the NHS.

If you voted Labour, you're an anti-Semite. Isn't that as fair as the line above?
