I'm only giving Jordan the benefit of the doubt because it's a TV show. They have a super intense connection. Say he moves forward now and then for whatever he goes out and starts dating like crazy (especially if he wins) can impact his reputation in his personal life. So there's other considerations there.

However, saying something is platonic whenever romantic feelings are involved is messy at best. At worst, it's messing with the other person's head and duping them into accepting scraps when they're being reeled in with the belief there may be a buffet down the line. Saying we're friends with benefits with the idea it could become more would be fine, but Henry's commentary saying he feels like Jordan has some kind of control over him is not a sign of a healthy relationship. He's also pretty much said it was something he was not prepared for. It does not mean it will become a toxic relationship. However, some of the bigger red flags are there and it is concerning.

Another part of me always wondered if they were all using the "are they/are they not" drama to keep the cameras focused on them (i.e. gameplaying). I don't think Henry is 100% without fault in this regard. He is bright, he may be thinking it's worth taking the risk here. Matty was also playing the same game since he has the "open relationship" get out of jail free card. He can pretty much do whatever without being tethered to responsibility which is equally shitty.

I just pray Henry knows what he is getting himself into because it's very hard to separate feelings from a situation, and then to lose reality when you're in such an intense connection. With the way he has been expressing himself the past few days, I'm not sure he is that objective. If they're both happy with that arrangement after all, more power to them. In the end it's literally a TV relationship. So, they may very well be more aware of what is going on than we are Imagine one of them wins and they both get out and split the prize having known what they were doing all along...

I think Jordan is wanting to make sure things don’t go further whilst in the house, he’s not playing with Henry’s emotions he’s trying to remain respectful to Henry as well as his family, he’s on TV. Things can progress on the outside, outside of the cameras

That's what people are getting at, it's not platonic. You can "say" something is platonic. That doesn't make it platonic (I'm talking about Jordan and Henry, not you or anyone else)

Jordan can’t win…he has been accused by Jenkin of playing on Henry’s feelings with the kissing and using it to up his game in the final week. Now he takes a small step back as he is conscious of it. When they had a peck in the hot tub and hugged each other it’s so apparent how they both feel for each other…he uses the word platonic but you can see that really isn’t the case….he can’t win.

I think it’s genuine and Jordan will get all my votes….

Bit of a stretch, but alright. That way of thought would have worked with Matty and his open relationship situation. Which I think Jordan realized when Henry was nominated and leaned towards Matty. As a gameplan.
But anyways, if he knows Henry has feelings for him and all he means he wants to be FWB, he has a weird way of showing it.
