With four medals in boxing now guaranteed, and a silver for Luke Patience and Stuart Bithell in the 470 class at worst still to come, Great Britain are now certain to win at least 48 Olympic medals.

That will surpass the tally from Beijing 2008 and reach UK Sport's minimum target.

Absolutely fantastic.

I think we could get at least 2 gold in the Boxing, definitely some silver at least.

Didn't know about the 470, that is incredible.

Should really have been a 5th, but somebody other than GB had to do well in the cycling I suppose.

Could we have another shock medal this evening in the high jump? Maybe a bronze, we can hope so.
