James was laughing and smirking when Ricci said that about James' son so I think it is fair to insinuate he beats his wife.

The comment from James about "smashing in some poor gilrs back doors" was a very sexually agressive comment. It offended me and many millions of people of both sexes. It has been the single worst comment I have ever heard on TV or radio.

The comment came straight from Jame's mouth as advice to a much younger man - how revolting! If people inadvertantly get the "wrong impression" about James (I personally don't think so), its all his own foolish doing.

Just to back up the above Richard Keyes one time GMTV Good Morning presenter who then went on to anchor Sky TV football with Andy Gray.. Got an immediate dismissal for using the self same expression when he was caught out pre-match and didn't realise the cameras were still rolling.
