He was. I read the interview, he was clean for a while but the stress of CBB had him on it again.

I don't blame Perez, nobody forced Alex to take drugs but the stress Perez put him though probably didn't help any.

I keep seeing people tediously repeating the fact that he was 'obviously' going through withdrawal.. when he had been clean for ages and if he was going through withdrawal, I'm pretty sure he would have been a hell of a lot more erratic and seriously ill to boot

Well, a lot of addicts pretend they've been clean for so long but I suspect he had a casual habit to keep him ticking over. Thought he could step out for a couple of weeks and couldn't hack it. Hence the slightest thing like Perez standing in the kitchen driving him over the edge.

Pratez in the kitchen was just one thing. Following Alexander around the house and laughing in his face and the 4am coughing by Alexanders bedside until he woke up whilst prior to talking into his mic from the toilet that he is about to go in the bedroom to wake Alexander up?

Maybe he might have done, but from what we know, he was clean before going into the house, so really saying he was going through withdrawal can hardly cut it as a valid argument to try and make Perez seem less of a wanker

A woman who lives in my street in an addict and she goes mental after a day without a fix. If Alexander was withdrawing he would be shaking, crawling the walls...his actions within the house were not of a man who even had a habit.
