This ‘invisible’ race card that everyone keeps dropping is brought up in any topic surrounding race, seems some can’t have a balanced argument because they’re worried what things may be unveiled in the process.

There are several reasons that Meghan isn't liked, and one of them is her race, it's blatantly obvious. It's not something I throw around lightly. A common trick of racists is to deflect their reason for hatred on to some other criticism. and there has been a lot of that too

But also, people are allowed to dislike her despite her heritage. And using that same racism stick to beat everyone is unfair.

I don't hate her, I'm not much of a fan. I don't know her from Suits, I've never seen her in anything else despite her being described as "Hollywood royalty" in the press... actually I think she's a very beautiful woman... I just haven't warmed to her. And making a conscious effort to change traditions isn't going to win her any more fans. I'm all for the Royal family modernising and I think that's happening. But there has to be a line or what's the point?

I hope I'm wrong, I hope she and Harry stay together forever in blissful happiness. So let's meet here in ten years and discuss.

In my case her colour doesn't come into it, its her attitude and her arrogance, her dropping her Dad and family that I dont like above everything else, and her thinking a little known actress ( not Hollywood royalty, an actress in a tv show ) thinks she can come over here and do what she wants in our Royal family and thinks she can change things and use her Royal privilege for her own ends ,she cant, she must abide by the rules the same as everyone else

Let me be clear, I couldnt give a stuff about any of the Royals including Meghan. To say that she must abide by rules is pure rubbish. The royal family has continually modernised, not fast enough in my opinion, but it has moved. Instrumental to that move were Diana and Fergie. Meghan hasn't done anything to deserve the abuse she gets. She is her own person, the UK and the Royal family does not own her. She can make whatever personal choices she wants. That's one of the privileges of a free society
