You've also got to consider the fact that it's the US and a lot of insurance companies don't tend to cover psychological treatment. For some of these women, taking the money might be the only way for them to pay for the help they could need to move on.

I saw something on Reddit the other day, it was a photo of a hospital bill for someone who had been bitten by a Rattlesnake. They were charged over a hundred grand for the treatment when the anti-venom would be sold in other countries for a pittance in comparison. For something that's seen as 'non-vital', therapy could put people into debt in the US.

Is she daft ?!! , Ok yes some people DO put themselves in higher risk of being attacked, raped etc especially when they get their drinks spiked or walk home at night alone, but they're still victim's . And it's disgusting what happened to them.

Plus there's women going about their daily business, or in their jobs who can get attacked & raped in broad daylight?, Does she want these women to be hermits? .

She’s adamant that the tide has turned and guys don’t have a chance in court cases - as the court convicted her client after accepting those women’s accounts of what happened without any evidence.

I'm pleasantly surprised that he got such a severe sentence, I was expecting him to get a couple of years at most knowing how ****ed the US Law system is.

I'm glad that he'll likely spend the rest of his life in prison, hopefully it'll be enough to help his victims heal.
