Right, Arista, him and his wife were both showing severe symptoms of the virus, so the chances are likely that their son also had contracted the virus and was able to pass it on, the elderly people were told by this government to self isolate from everyone and everything due to them being vulnerable, in what world is it okay for the top government aide who helped set the rules, to drive hundreds of miles (which wasn’t allowed) to live somewhere else (which wasn’t allowed) so that his sister and elderly parents could look after his child (which most certainly wasn’t allowed) he willingly put his parents in danger, he broke countless rules he had helped set for us common folk, us common folk would have gotten fined for doing the exact same thing, do you think politicians and government officials should be above the law?

Surprised at you, Arista. For weeks you rightly moaned about the government acting too slowly and now you're upset because they should be allowed to break their own rules.

Perhaps his parents wanted it to happen, so perhaps they were willing to take the risks of the son being left at home with them incase both parents died.

They could have stayed at home and looked after their own child in that situation like thousands of other parents had to under the lockdown conditions

No...you don't take the risk of mild symptoms, you instantly think of your child and do all you can while you can.

We do know that, his wife wrote an article about them both having severe symptoms, unless of course she was lying to cover themselves with a reason why they went to visit his elderly relatives during an international crisis.

If you have severe symptoms, then not sure how you could drive up the country, and if you could, how is constant coughing, struggling to breath, constant pressure on your chest a safe condition to drive in?

What I want is for everyone to be treated fairly and for the people ‘in charge’ to not treat us as play things for their amusement while they swan off and do whatever they want, directly contradicting everything they’ve put in place for everyone, they are not special, they are not above the law, if you can’t stick to the rules, you shouldn’t be setting the rules, simple as that
