well normally you can't but Everton managed to pull that off lol


but who am i to judge, i mean i managed to throw away a lead against Hearts in the ECL (as sampdoria) ultimately 4-4 draw, me qualifying as 2nd in the group instead of 1st, so i get a more difficult opponent in the knockout stage also in 90+5 where we went from 3-4 lead to 4-4

Tbf at least you only had a one goal lead.

Everton had a two goal lead with 10-15 minutes to go, those players should be ashamed of themselves.

Thanks for reminding us. I'd disagree. When a team loses one match in a calendar year thats hardly the wheel falling off. Anyway, it's looks like its been avenged today.

I think people are getting a bit carried away with Villa. Their league campaign will be affected by the Champions league. Arteta got to the 1/4s of the champions league and came 2nd on the last day of the season last year but people think Emery is a better manager. LEts see if Emery can go that far in the champions league and be nailed on top four and actually fighting for the title. I dont think he can.

I think people are getting carried away with Liverpool too. New manager whos style is completely different to Klopp. Klopp is a put an arm round kind of manager and Slot most definitely isnt. Also TAA, VVD and Salah's contract are up next year and I see all three of them leaving to either Saudi or to a European giant. All three of them must know its gonna be one hell of a slog for them to reach those height again at Liverpool, Bayern maybe but I cant see Liverpool being as good as they have been recently.

liverpool are a good squad at the moment, they are playing good football. Next season is a different kettle of fish
