Well if you're going to be pedantic I said my garden not everyone else's, I have no farm animals so I obviously wasn't referring to them. I was obviously refering to the snails and frogs.

Not pedantic but merely showing the extremes in your comment/view can be taken.

I know of no French people who eat the frogs or snails that they may have hopping about or slithering in their gardens, in the same way that I know of many Brits who have ponds with various fish in them, that they don't eat either.

I'm quite sure that other nations find some of the British foodstuff as unpalatable as we do some of theirs.
