Let me educate you parmnion.

*Prize* money is for the *winner*.

If Jay wasn't the slime-cheat-lowlife-pig I know he is, he would have *NOT* spent £500 with money that is technically *NOT* his.

And he would give the remaining £14,500 *BACK* to it's *RIGHTFUL* owner.

Can't help but feel that people are deciding to insult Jay's Mum as a way of directing the attention away from the point of the thread - that Aaron has allegedly gone back his agreement to split the money

Can't help but feel that people are deciding to avoid the fact that neither Jay or Aaron have said one word about whether this is true or not: yet it is Jay's mother who is declaring in public, that Jay didn't split his share as HE agreed to do -as detailed in the news article.

If you were in Aaron's shoes. Would you have spilt the money? And if Jay had won, do you think he would of split the money with Aaron?

Hence my use of "allegedly"

But, surely, most people would be reasonable and think 3 days after the final is a bit soon to be sharing the money all ready? He said on OKtv! that it has been a busy weekend, and he has only seen his son for a short time... Give the guy some time to come down from his high from winning! Has Jay and Alex shared out their winnings yet?

I don't think Aaron should, or will, split the money though. I hope he doesn't! He won it fair and square!

If I was in Aaron's shoes I wouldn't have made the agreement in the first place! But if I had done so, then I would honour it yes, and I'd like to believe Jay would do the same

The cheque wont even have cleared yet, and he has had more pressing things to do that fannying around splitting money.

Jay still having his £15000...shows that he also has so far gone back on his deal.

Aaron should split nothing until the first deal is done anyway, as if he splits and the others dont, Jay ends up better off than the winner.

Put simply...I'm sure Jay and Aaron(and the others) are more than capable of sorting this out between themselves. Without Mrs Mutton flapping her gums about something thats nowt to do with her

I'm happy to give him time and wait till we know all the facts, but right now the only comment that's been made about the deal is this one saying that Aaron has gone back on the deal, so we just have to go by what we've got atm

See this is something else...

We were shown a clip of them talking about splitting it. Whos to say that later in the day they didnt have a change of heart and decide that whoever wins..wins?

Again, relying only on what BB show us, which lets be honest...throughout the show, hasnt really tallied up.

I agree. If there is any real debate over sharing:then the first promise has to be enacted upon, before Aaron should be expected to fulfill the 2nd promise.

Can someone back up and explain this... I'm fairly sure I watched every single episode of the series, and I never saw Aaron claim he would share any of the final-winner's prize money with Jay. How do people know this even happened? YouTube clip please?

THe only sharing I saw mentioned was in the 50% twist in the final week, where everyone promised to share that equally.

Which is why Jays mother is being criticized. As she hasnt even gave the time for the 'deal' to be honoured before shouting her mouth off.

and what about the mother's comment about Jay's £15,000 as per the newpaper article. Or aren't you including that, because that's something else we have to 'go on' atm. Doing one but not the other shows a degree of unreasonability about it.

I don't think it is a case of 'what we've got atm' at all... Yes, atm we have Aaron allegedly not sharing the money... but it is too soon to expect him to, so why does it matter if he has, or hasn't, just now? You said your self you will give him time, so it should be irrelevant that he hasn't just now when he hasn't had time...

Some people, like me, are annoyed at Jay's mum for coming out with all this so soon... it is unreasonable to expect Jay to have the money now, even if Aaron does plan on sharing it.

Have Jay and Alex shared their money?

Yeah does seem highly hypocritical moaning on about Aaron not splitting his money with jay, while at the same time saying Jay did NOT honour his own deal with the rest (yet)either

I haven't read anything about this..what is Jay 28? ish.......how humiliating that his mum feels the need to talk for him....If Jay has something to say, he'll say it..otherwise she needs to pipe down and do some knitting

It's possible but doesn't fit with what his mother has said here

But she seems to think it's already been decided that the deal won't go ahead.. it seems odd that people are happy to criticise her but not to consider the possibility that what she says might be true

She didn't say that, the article said that; that was technically his official winnings so they're not wrong in stating that. The article is ambiguous as to whether he has stuck to his deal or not, but Jay's Mum explicitly states that Aaron has gone back on the agreement

that's the bit I'm not getting. I don't mind debating as long as there is an honest and candid consideration of the situation as we are aware of: but to completely avoid the very obvious that Jay is being portrayed by his own mother - as being exactly the same as Aaron - yet somehow, only Aaron gets the flack..... it's hilarious!

She doesn't say that though, she makes no mention of any deal that Jay had

Ah right. so let's go back to the beginning here then. The article is ambigious. Okay, I'll go with that - so because it is ambigous, you are ignoring what it says about Jay and his £15,000.

But when the same ambigious assumptions are made abour Aaron and his winnings.... you don't ignore that - yet you did when it is related to Jay - or indeed, his mother - who is the one the newspaper quotes: which is why she is being discussed and given flack. We don't know what she says is true either way: about Jay OR about Aaron.

I think that's highly hypocritical. In fact, it IS highly hypocritical. and to that end, there is absolutely no point in debating further with you - as you very much are on a one course direction - and showing complete inability to apply the same rules to one person, as you do another.
