I do think he is good, we need more people who actually sing and actually write songs in the music industry.
I just hate the entire "set-up" they've forced on him. So contrived, purely to take swipes at The Voice. Even though the show he was on is separate to the one they're competing with on BBC 1.

The fact we'll have 6/10 singing acts in a variety show as well, just doesn't sit well with me.

I think they do need to change the selection process. I've never been a fan of the current one because it's always been the same thing - the variety and talent being sacrificed for the singers and dance troupes.
