How about instead of a smileys option, there's a gifs option and you can choose from a list of gifs to reply to someone's post

In all seriousness that ignore thing does work. I just went into a thread made by someone on my ignore list and the OP disappeared

Ignore makes no sense if you quote them and respond directly to them though does it?
I thought being on a forum and interaction with others with opposing or conflicting views was a acceptable norm I don't find anyone on here that grating. I'd like bigger avatars.

That's why people wanted a way to completely ignore so they don't see that the person has posted or can't quote then etc
