You don't even know the meaning of any of those words. I speak the truth, you're too brainwashed to even see it. How many female workers have ever come to work in your house and fix any of the things I've mentioned? how many have you seen fix the roads? or go down the sewers or change your tyres? lets see if youre even capable of giving an honest answer? or will you continue to play to the feminist gallery? my friend you've been brainwashed , the sooner you realise that the more honest your life will become.

Hubby can turn his hand to fixing the washing machine at a push..maybe about 6/7 times in 38 years...but it took him the full 38 years to learn how to actually use the chuffing thing,.
Son is an electrical engineer, designs industrial washers amongst other things, I kid you not, it has taken him years to learn the difference between the washer and the tumbler..go figure

..I think it's a mixture of many things people have mentioned, a social conditioning/individual family conditioning/physical differences between male and females etc...interesting as well that I've just read that apart from a standard for all health and safety, females need specific risk assessments/health and safety to their sex..so could be insurance being very high as well..?...either for an employer or for themselves in their own business for certain jobs/that could be a factor..?..male primary school teachers as well, I think you've mentioned that before, truth.../why aren't there more...imho of the experiences I've had...(and there are some, we have 3 at the moment in a relatively small school compared to town/city schools/and they're amazing...but obviously as you say, still not of equal proportion..)...males tend to prefer to teach older children but also to teach specific subjects, whereas in primary schools, all subjects are often taught by one class teacher, as it's more of a 'bitesize' of each subject...there is much more scope for teachers to progress in their careers, if they specialise in an individual subject...and again, a gender thing in many males still being the higher earner in families...obviously not in all cases but still in many...

..actually I will add as well..with insurance..?...a few years ago, we had a plumber...(yes he was male/sorry truth..)...he has his own business and has a son..(around 19-ish at the time if I recall correctly..)...and his son came to help out with him a few days because he wasn't in education or employed...anyway, we were talking and he said that he would like his son to be a part of his business and his son would be all for that as well..but that as he was such a small business, he couldn't afford the insurance because it would be too high...really quite sad and something that should be looked into for very small businesses who would like to take on apprentices and teach them a trade...

![]() But in answer to the OP, I would imagine it's because biologically speaking men are (generally) stronger than women and so are more inclined to go for those types of jobs?.....that's pretty obvious though

I reckon this is actually a documentary about you, LT. You'll never let a woman in your life because you've been so wounded .And because you absolutely love gobbling the D but that's tertiary. Last edited by user104658; 18-02-2016 at 09:57 AM. |

1882-1941... Ah the 'hysterical female' theory, now debunked.

The world has changed for women... but only in the last fifty years or so. I think if you look back to how women kept the country running during the world wars while the men were away fighting, it'll show you that women are more than capable of doing anything they turn their hand to. Sadly women had to give up those jobs after the wars because men returning wanted the jobs and the women's movement was put back decades.
Why do so few men go into the caring professions, nursing and school teaching? Schools could benefit a lot from strong male influences in school. And yet they don't... |
