Whether it's true or not though, it's pretty suspicious that the story comes out now, very convenient timing!

Personally I'm going to choose not to believe it. There's absolutely no evidence and it's a very serious thing to accuse someone of, so to believe it without actually knowing any of the facts seems a bit extreme to me. Even if you don't like Charlie, it's not nice for anyone to have their name dragged in that way based on nothing.

I find it really quite ridiculous how some of the people outraged by Charlie being accused of this without proof are, at the same time, essentially doing the same about Jason. How is that any better?

But yeah, until this comes from Jason or Charlie themselves I'm not in a rush to take is as fact. It's not something anybody should be tarred with casually (and even if it did happen, it's not up to someone else to blab about it, if Jason wanted to bring it up he would have).

I just wish people would take something like domestic abuse more seriously instead of just treating it as a tool to use against someone, and that goes for people on both sides of this silly petty fan warring.

the timing is all due to charlie's friend saying stuff and jason's friend being approached by a publication to give a balancing pov. so if you deem there to be any machinations, blame the press.

My abuse of Charlie is no more than the abuse of other HM's - including Jason - from other members on various threads Cherie, and the fact that Charlie is a 'woman' per se is NOT a factor, but what KIND of woman she is, is a factor.

And in my opinion, she is a very unfair, vexatious and bullying gold digger who is - by her own voilition - a cheat and a terrible partner.

I abhor ALL forms of bullying and I abhor her, but I would feel as equally as strong if the roles were reversed and Jason was bullying Charlie.

Being a 'woman' does not preclude harsh criticism or hatred where it is justified - even in emotional responses to women on a 'game show' as this forum PROVES every 'On Season'.

At least I confine my comments to the HM in question and NOT to other members, even those who I disagree with the most emphatically.
