i don't know the context of the tweet so not sure..but am i wrong in saying the james guy is abit camp? not 100% sure who he is but i saw something earlier about a homophobic tweet.

still people say things online that don't come out in real life..i have a feeling most of us are guilty of that

Do you seriously not realise how ridiculous this is getting? At first it was fine because the Danny tweet was a post that was already going around but why are you wasting your time scrolling through Danny's twitter just to find "evidence" as if you're some kind of detective? What point are you trying to prove that hasn't already been proved?

Those tweets don't make Danny homophobic. Whether you like the words he's used or not, actually being homophobic is a way of thinking, that you simply can't assess from a couple of tweets, when in the right context it could be mutual ribbing with mates. I'm gay and I have no problem with the word 'fag' when used with my mates, or even people I don't know if it's not said in a malicious way, and I use it myself also. I wouldn't however shout it at someone on the street aggressively. Context. I understand that some people would disagree with me and dislike the word in any context, but even if that's the case, it doesn't automatically make someone else homophobic for having a different perception of the word.

It's certainly homophobic language. Danny wasn't trying to make his friends feel bad, it was banter, but it was at the expense of gay people. He may not be a full on raging homophobic gay basher but it is homophobic language that he is using. Assuming his friends are straight, and he did photoshop the picture which implies that, it is undeniably homophobic language.


BTW for those who haven't seen it Rory O'Neill/Panti Bliss gave a great speech which covers the range of the definition of homophobia

It's very likely OP was joking when posted this as proof of homophobia

but since everyone wants to hate him, they even hate a joke thread, they even take a thread that shows him in positive light (being gay friendly) and pretend he's being horrible?

I don't even like the guy, but I'm sure you can find a lot of things about him to hate w/o making stuff up and contorting what he said to his close personal friends. By acting as if this is bad, you are undermining his real issues, like anger management and obvious misogyny as shown on the show.

Now I don't even believe other claims that were made about him. Still don't like him, but don't believe stuff said about him either.

exactly, both are vile and none of this makes anyone look better than the other, So i think the tweets should stay in one thread(like the marc's one) rather than making a single thread about a single tweet.
