Meme-able WDYDT is the biggest bop in Gaga's discography since 2013  It's an absolute joy to listen to. The vocals, the beat, just everything creates a pop CLASSIC  44. Hair Body Face // A Star Is Born (track 15) // 2018 HBF is like WDYDT's older sister. It's just so mellow yet strong sounding, the lyrics are more heartfelt, and I just adore when she says "cos baby when I look at you, I just don't know what to do with you". Her voice. Although it's a bop, there's something almost melancholic about HBF. It's definitely me favourite of the bop trio from ASIB. It's sad it didn't get more prominence in the film. Lowest-ranked REAL single According to wiki, Judas is 'Electro house'.  What I do know is that there's no denying Judas is a fully-fledged retro-inspired dance ANTHEM. It has amazing theming and iconography, and was a bold step for Gaga. I must say though, it doesn't send me quite as much as Gaga's other singles for the most part. There just seems to be something missing for me. |

42. Dope // ARTPOP (track 13) // 2013
Dope seems to be quite a divisive song in Gaga's discography. Personally, I love it. It's an entirely unique song on ARTPOP; it's the only song that's completely stripped back. I love the rasping vocals, I love the lyrics, and it just feels like one of her most genuine ballads.  But fun fact and something I only noticed this year, when she’s doing the choreography during the chorus in the bar, the back up dancers swap between male and female

41. Hair // Born This Way (track 6) // 2011 Hair kinda feels like the second spearhead for BTW as an album after the title track, backing up the messages found in it. It's an emotional track... "I just wanna be myself and I just want you to love me for who I am"... "in the morning I'm short on my identity"..."I just wanna be free, I just wanna be me, and I want lotsa friends that invite me to their parties" are just a few of the lyrics that catch me right in the feels  I do have one gripe with Hair though, and that's the post-chorus breakdown. It's just kinda messy, and doesn't sound as nice as the rest of the song. Spoiler: |
