Uhm, that's not good. By that time everyone will already have picked their favourites and just be waiting for the song to be over so they can start voting.

Ireland finished last from that position last year

I suppose it's not too bad, the song is perfect for the closing spot, with the pyro shower and the 'power to the people' part. I just hope she can pull it off.

Last is ****ing awful. Everybody gets lethargic and tired and pretty much just give up watching. Not happy with that. Although lyrics wise, last is perfect. But no, not pleased in the slightest.

It's not too bad. It will be memorable with the juries and it won;t do too badly in the televoting either.

This is where the last-performing countries ended up in the televoting standings:
2013 - 14th
2012 - 13th
2011 - 8th
2010 - 3rd

All Molly needs is to nail her jury rehearsal and she's set for Top 5.

EDIT: Also, there's never really been a favourite to close the show before, so obviously they're testing it out this year with Molly. So it's not all doom and gloom.

Our song wasn't great though. Our problem is we're always trying to guess what Europe wants from a Eurovision song and trying to copy things from the year before that did well instead of just choosing a good song. We need to stop over thinking it if we ever want to do well again. We did it the first year Jedward entered for us and we did better than we had in years, we choose them cos we liked them and they made us smile and it worked pretty well
