I'm not saying he should be best friends with her but if he just let it go and was at least civil to her then both of their stays in the house wouldn't have to be so uncomfortable. I agree, in there you're always going to have people you don't like or get along with, if someone you're not on good terms with makes it clear they'd just rather avoid you and avoid any unnecessary confrontation then it's probably best for everyone to keep it that way

Displayed wonderfully by the fact that in almost every episode he's moaning about her or telling people how sly she is.

Yet when the shoe is on the other foot and he gets called out for it, he wants nothing to do with the argument, he doesn't like when things don't go his own way.

I don't think it's all that difficult, Aaron managed it for the most part last year when he was at loggerheads with Jay, you won't be able to completely avoid them but it is possible to avoid actively engaging with them I reckon

It sometimes cannot be civil though, in that situation it is best to just ignore each other as in the main Conor does as to her, yes he speaks about her from time to time but she does with him too.
Immediately after fridays win for him,off she went again to Luke A on about him and running him down.

It may not be easy to avoid each other but you can stop communicating, there are plenty other people in there to talk to,it's not as if they are the only 2.
In the case of Deana and Conor, they are 2 people who should not have anything to do with each other. To be fair to him, he never seeks her out, she is always the one who pushes for reasons from him that he won't have anything to do with her while at the same time likely fully knowing the reasons he won't anyway.

You're right, it doesn't. But everytime she tries to have an actual conversation with him all he does is shout at her and stomp off because he has no actual case to argue. If he wanted nothing at all to do with her then he should stop talking about her completely so he won't be caught out and have his conversations read out to the house.

There's been countless times when his conversations have been read out, Deana has had 1 conversation about him that Big Brother has repeated to the house and he gets punished yet again for breaking the rules himself so he stomps off like a sulking little boy who's just been told he can't have sweeties. He got himself into that situation and when Deana tried to reasonably discuss it with him he goes off on one again.

Has anyone ever stopped to think that maybe Deana was just trying to be a decent human being and not make both of their stays in the house so unpleasant? Apparently not, because according to his "fans", she was just trying to start an argument.

The difference is, Aaron had a few strong, trustworthy, supportive, friendships. So didn't feel as alone. Deana has a couple of friends but none are trustworthy, or very supportive. Not many are in that house.

I don't deny that's possible, but from Conor's point of view they're two polar opposites as people, he doesn't really trust her and no good can come of them talking to each other, they have an irreconcilable relationship basically and he doesn't want to let his guard down. I think it's perfectly legitimate not to trust her, there's been a couple of instances where she's tried to stir things (telling Benedict Arron had called him "boring", telling Luke S about Arron and the protein) and other housemates also seem to be a bit wary of her, Adam seemed so after she had tried telling him all that crap about Lauren

So you should only be civil to people you don't and never have gotten along with if you have no friends? Fair point. But no one is asking him to actually let his guard down and be friends with her, I get that he doesn't like her and thats fine (even though he doesn't have an actual reason other than her nomianting him waaaay back when) but I think a lot of people could actually be civil with someone they don't like, I wouldn't be jumping up to have a huge discussion with someone I supposedly hate but I wouldn't be bitching about them constantly either and then shouting at them when it's revealed that they've also bitched about me...once If I'd done it a lot more.
