Vegetarianism I can understand but Vegans baffle me.

Chickens NEED to lay eggs, cows NEED to be milked etc

Oh and vegetarians that eat fish are laughable

There is those people who do it to look 'indie' or 'trendy' like "Ohhhhh I like the smiths i'm veggie like Morrissey hehe" They annoy me most, I don't mind if people have a passion for it, that's good.

Yeah, never quite understood it to be honest.

And vegans...dont even get me started...

I have a mate who is a vegan, and when she came to mine once, I was eating bacon and eggs...I didnt know she was coming...she glared at my plate, we had a massive arguement and it turned out she was pissed that I would eat meat in her company...I told her to get a life, but then it turned out that the fact that I also had eggs made it worse...bizzare...

I got annoyed that she kicked off about what I eat though, its nowt to do with her, so next time I knew she was coming, I put a huge beef joint in about 2 hours before so it was in the middle of cooking when she got here

Oh that's ridiculous. Vegetarians need to get used to people eating meat around them. I never argue with people about it,it's just stupid. It's my principles, not their's. LOL at you putting the beef in

They are pescetarians [or Lazy Vegetarians]. And to be honest, I can kind of see where they are getting there logic from. Chickens, pigs & cows posess some degree of cognitive qualities and charm whereas fish just muck about aimlessly in there thousands like blown up bits of bacteria.

And remember - not all of these guys give a **** about the ethics. Many pescetarians are only so for the health benefits [red meat containing high amounts of saturated fat whereas fish are a great source of omega 3 etc].

LOL at lazy vegetarians! I don't mind people who eat fish who only veggies for health reasons, cos that's totally different. I hate people who think they're a vegetarian and then eats fish.

I am a proud vegetarian, but I don't look down on those who prefer to eat meat. Although my sister would definitely classify it as "murder"

Yes, but if you really had to, you could live with out. You want it, don't need it.

You make it sound so depressingly political. Some of us would just rather not see animals die. Most people would be upset at the sight of battery farms and processing plants. But that's forgotten with the way it just get's straight to the supermarket and into your hands. It's a cheap way of dodging responsibility. I don't want to eat anything I myself would not be capable of killing.

I'd like to be a veggie, but would not want to be one for the sake of it if you get me. I'd want to really believe in it.
