This idea just came to me, but would it be possible to be able to customise the smilies that appear at the side of your post to choose the ones you use to make it easier? It's probably more trouble than it's worth but just a suggestion

Could the swear filter be made optional? It's a win win, the chicks who want to swear in posts can do so and the girlies that don't want to see word **** can opt out

When it comes to bans maybe ban people from the sub forum they broke the rules for a certain amount of time and leave full bans for serious rule breaks

I do think that bans from certain sections would fix some issues we have, I'm pretty sure it's been discussed in the towers but I'm not sure how possible it is to implement.
