Also started watching The Queens Gambit which I love and myself and Gav started watching Kingdom which I'm also enjoying, it's a bout an MMA Gym

...when I first watched it...it was quite a few years ago, a friend recommended it because she watched it with her two daughters......anyways, I couldn’t get it on my channels but another friend could...?...so we had ‘This is Us’ evenings ...4 of us watched it together...we were the mess of 4.../...emotionally wrecked each watching session...I love how the story develops and how the present associates with the past etc...

....I wasn’t sure if my OH would like it and thought that I could watch it on my own if he didn’t...but he’s totally hooked after the first episode as well...so maybe it’ll be the same for Gav...(..he’s a huge This Is Us fan as well, he caught up on his own to where I was, quite a while ago...)....

I know, well I've always been a massive TV fan and I'll watch pretty much anything but Gav loses interest in shows really quickly which is annoying because then I either stop watching too or have to try to find time to watch on my own. Kingdom is the first one in ages now he's seems interested in

...yeah, there are some series that my OH has been watching that I’m not even sure what they are tbh...because I can’t fit anymore in so it would be dangerous to ask...we have a ‘his’ and ‘her’ pile of series and then an ‘us’ one for both of us...and we’re quite cool about it, we don’t have a schedule...we just decide on the day whether it’ll be a his, hers or us day...that’s how we roll, COVID style......

...I think that I might be just about to go into the last episode of Little Fires Everywhere...I have mixed feelings because I want to see the outcome etc but I really don’t want it to end, either...I would totally recommend, it’s so layered and just terrific female characters...Reece and Kerry are completely fabulous in it......

...the ending, wow....just totally captivating and engrossing from the beginning...incredibly layered characters and a huge shout out to the young actors as well who were perfection...especially Lexi Underwood and Megan Scott as Pearl and Izzy......Reece Witherspoon is just stunning in everything she does ......

We enjoy This Is Us for what it is... but GAWD do they ham it up with fapping off Jack Pearson . It occasionally gets ridiculous. Bring him back to life as the next Captain America, he makes Steve Rogers look like a pretender.

On that note, one of my favourite moments of the show is when [very minor spoiler]

Also I just heard on the radio this morning that Netlix are making a 3 part documentary on that West Cork case Ammi, not sure when it will be out though

...oh, that’s the perfect story for a Netflix, type documentary...it’ll be interesting to see what there investigations bring up that we might not already know...these things are just so horrendous for the families...for her son to live with no justice for all of this time....it would be awful to think that it could be for his whole life...

“The series will include interviews with the key players in Ireland and France, including the man convicted in France of Sophie’s murder, Ian Bailey, and we will drill down into the evidence surrounding a murder investigation which remains mired in anguish and controversy.”

I honestly think him being found guilty in France was a bit of a joke (as much as he comes across as unlikeable) the French found no new evidence against him and there really wasn't enough to charge him. Also, the key witness who put him near the scene at the right time withdrew her statement
