okay so I am only 12 minutes in but some off the counter protesters seem to be professional trouble makers, like the guy who the film maker met at the trans rights demo following him around and harrassing him....nice...but now he has a face mask on, .also the guy from Walthamstow took off when asked about the reason for the protest .ie the guy who has been charged with sexual assault, didn't want to talk about the reason, I dont agree with attacking the police or attacking anyone but the protest was pretty peaceful until the counter protesters arrived

I really have to say I agree with your stance here.

I've personally more stopped entering serious debates on here because it's far from being serious debates or any even reasoned debate.
It's just becoming a platform for more divisive in the main Reform Party viewpoint to be stoked up.
So it's best I avoid political issues on TIBB now

People dare not say anything about Israel or it's forces otherwise they're branded anti semetic

Or in fact to anyone we don't know.
Yet it's almost being fired out like confetti.

I've had it on and off for years, since 2016, simply because I supported Labour even during the time of Corbyn's leadership.

So I see no point in even trying to reason or post now on near all serious debates.

However supporting law breaking is both surprising and wrong

It reminds me of a time where I was on a local fb group and a young girl was warning others that she was being harassed by some guy in Leeds and wanted to warn others to be careful as he would not leave her alone.

She said that he was from Pakistan (maybe Afghanistan, I can’t remember it’s been over 10 years) and immediately people were like

YOURE BEING RACIST! WHY DOES IT MATTER WHERE HES FROM? HOW DO YOU KNOW THATS WHERE HES FROM? ANY EXCUSE TO HATE ON SOMEONE OF COLOUR etc etc

This girl was attacked relentlessly. She mentioned that he told her that’s where he was from and people were still furious. I felt so bad for her. She was only trying to warn other young girls/women that there was a guy who would not leave her alone/was following her etc

And I think that at the end of the day, people don’t realise that most women think that any man who doesn’t back down when they keep saying no no not interested, I have a boyfriend etc etc, think that they are going to end up being raped or assaulted by said male

Some cultures treat women horrifically. That is a fact. Most of these migrant men who are coming into the country are from these backwards countries that despise women (and the LGBT). They didn’t respect the women in their countries ans they certainly won’t respect them here. I actually think they have even less respect for British women (they see them as sluts/impure/unworthy of marriage/only to be used for sex (when and only when the men want it.

People are not wrong in saying that there are racist ***** who are taking advantage of a protest to scream their idiotic racial hate. But let’s not pretend that most protests have people using them as an excuse to commit crimes (London riots looting, BLM destroying black owned business etc etc)

I think essentially all points can be true. There ARE people who are furious that this is happening to the vulnerable in our society. There ARE also people who are using this just to hate on brown people for no reason. Both are true. But at the end of the day, surely the focus should be on the underage girl (I actually believe there were 2 in this case) and what we can do to stop it from ever happening again

Because the truth is this isn’t just a one time thing. It is constant and again, I don’t think people understand the scale on which these attacks are happening.

I know there was the Rotherham or Rochdale or something that states with R scandal. But it’s still happening constantly

I totally understand wanting to help people from war torn countries, especially when we are the ones who caused it. But letting in thousands and thousands of undocumented men is just not a good idea for anyone. And again, I want to know where the women and kids are? Why aren’t we keeping them safe? Why can’t we open our arms to them instead of the thousands of able bodied men?

When the police facilitate outsiders to come to to your town and call you racist whilst you are protesting about a hotel housing illegal immigrants, where one of them has tried it on with a very young girl, you are obviously going to get an angry response.

The fact it's about kiddie fiddling makes it a just response. Of course some on here denounce any violence and don't see that there should ever be a reas9n to become violent.. unfortunately when it comes to kiddie fiddling, as this is what the protest was about until the police allowed it's disruption, when it comes to kiddie fiddling the majority of the public would and should be acceptable to violence towards the perpetratuer.

He wasn't around, so the police got it for facilitating the disruption of the peacefully process.
