It was a surprisingly good speech overall.

It's easy to make a slip of comments in speeches, I've done it loads
However really, he should have that line at least firmly set in his mind.

I'm still furious at the winter fuel payment though.
I agree that it would be better means tested but the scope for it needs looking at.
This is only going to have worse headlines to come over the Winter as any elderly contract cold related ailments.
Plus at worse too if any die.

I'm stunned he just seems unable to listen on this.
Most of the plans he has are good ones but absolutely NOT the cutting of the winter fuel payment.
