Default Rodrigo-terrified of returning to Brazil.

"I love this cuntree.I love the queen."etc. etc.Gettin bit boring now-surely cant be that bloody good in Leeds or wherever he is.More likely he fears returning to his poverty stricken, crime infested homeland.

Under European Union free movement legislation he can't be 'sent back'.

Well that is not quite true, since Rodrigo is not a citizen of the European Union.

However, there is no reason whatsoever to think that Rodrigo has not perfectly correctly complied with immigration legislation and has a legitimate visa. So there is no reason to think there is any possibility of him being "sent" anywhere.

If the point of this thread is, Rodrigo prefers to live in Britain and does not want to go back to Brazil, well fine. But that is not particularly interesting.

Thought all that ar*s licking he was doing was a ploy-how cynical of me.If he can stay here as long as he wants it must be genuine.Just curious about his ridiculous obsession with the Queen.Does'nt appear to know anything about her except she looks like a nice lady.

Ah, I see. My apologies as that is a relevant fact. Although a final determination rests on whether Rodrigo possesses an EU passport, it would seem plausible that he does given that one of his parents is Italian.

Brazil is no worse than the UK there are parts you should not go to if you want to stay safe, most of the grime your talking about happens in the Flavelas, the Flavelas are basically a town within a town.

I would preffer to live in brazil any day, they have the most beautiful women in the world

Brazil is not really a fantastic country. The landscape is beautiful and the peolpe are nice and it's nice to visit if you're careful but to live there is difficult.

There are as many civilian deaths every year as there are in an average war zone. And IIRC civilian isn't counting the 'drug dealers' from the favellas who are killed. I put drug dealers in inverted commas because a lot of people killed by the police were not dealing drugs but the police claim they were to justify their killing of them. Even the middle classes in the cities have resorted to penning themselves up in enclosed living areas to escape the daily gang violence and clashes between the gangs and the police. The police are corrupt as well. After 8 O'clock even in nice quiet areas in the city you don't want to be frawing attention to yourself; it's actually safer to drive straight through a red light than stop because people come and highjack your car.

It's good in a lot of ways but it is not a fantastic country and I don't blame Rodrigo for not wanting to go back there
