Default I hate how BB is popular now that its being axed...

Was on Yahoo there and it says...

"What the world is searching for.."
1. Big Brother

It shows that people are still intrested even if they arent watching, they clearly want to read about it,

The show gets 2 million a night yet theres people in America and stuff watching on Youtube, Wish that would count as ratings!

Shame BB wasnt "The most searched thing in the world" when it wasnt being Axed FROM CHANNEL 4...

Have to remember that people

Axed FROM CHANNEL 4

Not Axed completely like some ******* think on other sites

I know, it's a shame, there's a lot of people who are still into the show, but we don't count anymore, because it's what C4 says.

I can't see Endemol finishing our BB series, i hope another channel does pick it up. It's even more annoying knowing that the awful USA series is still alive

Well there's still another year, so if publicity is generated now, that could benefit next year, and that could in turn lead to good future openings.

The show will be back after Channel 4 has run it into the ground. A new channel with fresh ideas could make it better.

It needs a few years off first then brought onto a new channel.

Excacally!

And if BB UK Does end before BB USA, it will be like a big slap in the face to the loyal BB UK fans,
The Americans who hate our version will laugh and just be so smug that BB USA is still on..

Its annoying when they say..

"BB USA has more ratings!"

Of course it will its in a far bigger country, but BB USA would be a massive failure here

I live in the US but I honestly enjoy watching both BBs equally - they're just different shows, and to put them next to each other isn't a fair comparison. BBUSA is much less a "reality" show than a scripted gameshow, but it serves its purpose as a sort of semi-real combination soap-opera/competition for $500k. That sort of guilty pleasure TV has a loyal audience in the US.

BBUK, on the other hand, is a lot more real, and it's a lot more personal. It's less of a competition than a story, and that's what makes it so enjoyable to watch over the course of a summer.

In other words, I guess you could say BBUSA is the dependable version that doesn't take a lot of risks, has a safe viewing audience, and will likely be renewed for a few more years at least (the ratings this year have been great, thanks in part to expanded LF and a great houseguest crop) while BBUK is the unpredictable version that lives on the wild side, is controversial and spontaneous, and is more about the people than the game. Too bad C4 lost sight of this in the past couple of years.

Although I'm happy BBUSA is still going strong, it sucks that BBUK is getting dropped from C4. Hopefully this won't be the end of the line for BBUK, but it looks as though it might be.

I would love it if another channel made BB better than C4. It would serve them right for not recognising a good thing when they have it.
