BBC looking to make big cuts soon. the above 2 stations are set to be axed - is this right.

(I would have thought BBC7 and 1xtra would be a better bet)

yes i agrree with bbc asia, no one i know understands the words and its a waste of money, but who the hell watches bbc news theres already 78 other news channels? in my opinion axe BBC2, NEWS, BBC4 and cbeebies to save money
then get rid of eastenders the country needs something new

I'd probably cut down the amount of radio stations really, keep Radio 1 & 2 and have two more at most for discussion shows and other things. Most of the stations could be merged really. I'd say cut a lot of BBC3's programming as well since most of it's monumentally ****, keep Being Human and Last Man/Woman Standing and perhaps some other shows and get rid of the rest (except Family Guy/American Dad obviously) and do what E4 do, focus on american imports and a small amount of GOOD homegrown creations.

BBC 1Xtra should go, that kind of thing could go online-only on BBC Switch and maybe a 3 hour late night slot on Radio 1.

5Live and 5Live extra could be integrated into one, as could BBC R4 and BBC R7

That would get rid of 3 stations and they aren't really getting rid of any content

has confirmed BBC6 and Asian Network Digital Radio Stations will be Terminated.
And 25% less to be spent on the Bloated BBC Web sites.

I think this is awful news. 6 Music is probably my favourite radio station, next to Radio 3. I'll miss Jarvis Cocker's Sunday Service.
