"LIFE expectancy is TEN YEARS lower in parts of the North than the South,
grim figures reveal today.
Blackpool men have the lowest predicted life-span in England at 73.6 years - compared to 84.3 in London's posh Kensington and Chelsea.
And women in the Lancashire town can expect to live to 78.8 - ten years less than those in the West London borough.
The national average is now 77.9 years for men and 82.0 for women."
