Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I have zero talents for any gambling concepts and especially when you people start introducing fractions and saying things like 'odds' and 'over/under' etc,
but,
based on your explanation (thank you for that) I would say this is a good wager as I would say he is almost certain to make it to the final 5 and very likely the final 3.
The only problem is that a mass of idiotic teen girls with mobile phones WILL slam John James and Josey into the Final 2 I suspect.

I have no idea how I would even start opening online accounts, clicking things about money etc so I wont do it,

John James will win it if he gets to the final. But if he ends up being up for eviction with more than one other person (so that his fans votes are split between people and not all aimed at one person), then looking at the least favourite housemate polls on various sites, he should be evicted.

Personally I enjoy him as a HM. God knows we're short on big characters this year. However, as a person he's pretty indefensible at times.

He oozes insincerity and is very selfish. Incredibly so, actually. Which is why I can't support him actually winning. HMs like him and JJ just don't deserve to be rewarded to that extent. Just feeds and encourages their bad behaviour.

I placed a small bet on him at 9/1 a couple of weeks ago...i wouldn't recommend a punt on him if he gets much "shorter" than that though, at this stage anyways. I personally think he's been good value as a housemate, he is a "risk" though. I think boredom, plus his lacking sleep could be a couple of his biggest threats. I also believe he could be a real prospect of walking, particularly with a lack of enemies and stimulation. Also, if Dave was to leave in a couple of weeks, that could make him even worse. I think the New HMs have been good for him, that should spark him up for a little while. He's gonna be a pretty high risk at getting nommed, though...he's gonna have to survive a few evictions to make the last week, imho...but he obviously has quite a fan base. I think he's had a pretty good edit overall, that's also gonna be key for him making at least the final week.

PS. The "new JJ" could be one to watch, i've already seen him at 9/1...he's seems quite sharp and assertive, and no doubt will appeal to the girls/ladies, i wouldn't be surprised if he's outright fav in 7-10 days...
