Everton got him on a freebie. I think he's going to be awesome for them, (and get an England cap or 2). 3 goals already in the pre-season. Leeds will flounder in the Championship without him.

I'm from Scotland but my English team are Newcastle, was really hoping we'd sneakily try and get him but unfortunately we didn't and were still lacking a natural goalscorer, as Andy Carroll is a big physical young lad and a very good striker but i can tell you know he won't score loads of goals this season for us. Beckford is a great player and will score around 20 goals next season i'd say especially with Saha alongside him.
