A Celebrity Big Brother spokesperson has insisted that the contestants do not have an iPod in the house.

Fans began to question if one of the devices was available to the celebrities after Amy Childs was heard to query the whereabouts of one during a conversation.

Speaking in the bedroom on their first night in the Elstree compound, Childs reportedly asked Lucien Laviscount: "Where's your iPod?" According to The Sun, the ex-Coronation Street actor replied: "In my bag."

However, a spokesman for the Channel 5 reality series denied that there is an iPod - which could possibly be used to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi - in the house.

"Producers searched the housemates' bags before they went in to make sure they didn't have anything like that," he told the paper.

Of course the producers would deny it .....
