I'm not knocking anyones opinion but it takes at least a week before I figure out who I put my money on, wouldn't it not take a few days before you support someone. I see people on here having "sophie to win" and fanclubs already. Am I the only one who finds it a little strange?

Plus you have another 6 coming in tonight.

..it normally takes me about a week or so to decide on a favourite, it's impossible to see their character after a few minutes of them going in and we don't get live feed now either...

It takes me longer sometimes cause they are playing it safe during the first week. Wasn't Conor from BB13 a fan favourite after week 1?. Look how that turned out.

..yeah, I didn't like him from the start..I usually start to get an impression of them after about a week but I often change it as time goes on and some people I don't always like at the start, I end up liking, that's why I don't really like to commit to an actual favourite...

It takes me a few days to form opinions on most of them too, it's easier once the excitement of the launch has worn off them imo but everyones different.

I agree the ones I liked during the first week I ended up hating in the end.

I will have my favourite by the end of week 2 and I will settle on that. Once they are settled they come out of their shells.

part of the excitement for me is using the first impressions i have on the housemates and picking my favourite ones from the launch and from my first impressions and seeing how things change throughout the show

Yeah I have always found fan clubs upon entrance and picking favourites a little weird, it usually takes me a week or two to get solid favourites. I like to give everyone a fair chance at first, but as with everyone I do have people I like on first impressions.

Sometimes I just know right from the start and other times I take a while to decide, so far this season I think I'm going to take my time.

..yeah, I think everyone has a first impression of people Jack, but I find sometimes if you then think of them as a firm favourite, then some bias can slip in, so it's best to watch them all interact and stuff first and reserve judgements...

Me too, there are a couple of people I like but it's too soon for me to make a judgement. We haven't even seen all the housemates yet!

Most years there is a standout housemate that I know I am going to like from their VT/their first moments in the house, but this year so far there is absolutely no one

Not that keen on it either, though I do sometimes join fan clubs early so that if it does turn out to be a good housemate I can point to my name being one of the first on the list as evidence of my great taste

I agree. it's interesting to see how our opinions change from launch until the end. plus people can change their favourites, it's not really a problem.
